My dog ate my 80D. Well just the eye cup & lense cover. The camera is still working but the battery dies rather quick. Replaced it with another and it also died over night. It seems to have something in the background running causing the batteries to die. Any ideas?

Your dog's slobber got inside the camera. It is probably on its last legs. (The camera that is, I am not advocating the Kristi Noem solution!)

BrianjBond,

While I agree with Kvbarkley that a visit to the nearest gravel pit might be in the camera's future 😆, you might also try a complete camera reset too.

Steve Thomas
