EOS 90D Firmware update help

Good afternoon to everyone, can somebody please guide in how to update my firmware for my Canon 90D. The problem that I have is that when I select the firmware 1.1.1 link, it takes me to a different page were the downloads available are for something different to the firmware.

Or someone can tell me if there is a newer firmware that will cover and add more features to my camera.

What firmware are you on?

I can tell you that at this date, any firmware updates are bug fixes for obscure bugs. No new features are going to be added to the camera.

Hi Writman and welcome to the forum:
Sorry to learn are having issues with the firmware update. You could try this site in Canada- I have used it before to update the firmware on my cameras without issue :
EOS 90D Firmware Version 1.1.1 [Windows] (custhelp.com)
alternatively the one in Oz works perfectly well too:
EOS 90D Firmware Version 1.1.1 [Windows] | Canon Australia

As my colleague Kevin suggests, the camera mature and is likely at the end of its firmware update cycle, so any changes should be minor.

It adds these features. If you take videos or have either or both those lenses it may be an important update for you.

Hello WRitman,

Getting to the firmware on the US site is like a puzzle. Go to the link below.

When you are on the page click support at the top of the page.
It will scroll down, select/click software and drivers.
Scroll down just a bit and you will see a table
Left hand side there is a drop down box named "Download Type".
Expand it and you'll see firmware
Select firmware and scroll down a little and you will find the download.
