With IS switched off on the lens, then IBIS is also switched off and cannot be switched on from the camera menu.

What order was the bracketing sequence set to? From the custom functions page 1 this can be changed to either start from the most underexposed or from the most overexposed.

By default the camera shoots the "correct" or mid exposure first, then the most underexposed, works through to the most overexposed. So for your sequence this would be the 1/160, 1/2500, 1/1000, 1/400, 1/60, 1/25 and finally 1/10.

It does seem odd that only the 1/60 and 1/10 images exhibit the phenomenon. Which shutter mode was being used, mechanical, 1st curtain electronic or electronic?

Perhaps it is best to share some example images?

This occurred on the same 2-of-7 brackets on over 50X(7-bracket) sequences shot during totality.

Vibration is highly unlikely; could this be an IBIS malfunction?

TV = 1/160s, Bracket = 7, Stops = 4

1/10s - Double exposure 😥

1/25s

1/60s - Double exposure 😥

1/160s

1/400s

1/1000s

1/2500s

I also shot Diamond Ring with 5 bracket sequence (different TV values from totality bracket) without any double exposure artifacts observed.

The whole/entire image is double exposed...

Only occurs (repeatedly, over 50 full brackets) for 1/60s and 1/10s in 7 bracket sequence...

So, I had to discard 2 of 7 shots (per bracket, on every bracketed sequence)
