    <description>&lt;P&gt;The manual (page 72) says the VF and screen can't be activated at the same time.&amp;nbsp; So the fact that your VF is working suggests that the camera has simply switched to VF mode, not that the screen is broken.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;So perhaps you accidentally switched to viewfinder mode; see the manual page 780 for how to control this.&amp;nbsp; You can also configure a button to do this; maybe you pressed that button by accident.&amp;nbsp; See manual page 829 - 836.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;If switching is set to auto, then it should select the VF when it detects your face being close to the viewfinder; so maybe there's some object stuck to the sensor.&amp;nbsp; Manual page 28 shows where that is (item 19).&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;If it's none of these, then sorry, I dunno.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

It turns on but is black / blank. The viewfinder works normally and I can take pictures. Pressing the info button doesn't change anything.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Greetings,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Power off the camera&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Remove the lens and all accessories.&amp;nbsp; Also remove the memory cards.&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Power the camera on.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;You can also try spinning the LCD 180 degrees, closing then re-opening.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Any change?&lt;/P&gt;</description>
