To confirm, are you seeing the dot on the rear screen as well as in the actual footage played back either on a computer or device? Or Is this only on the rear screen?

EOS M50 Mark II Bad Pixel? or Bad Lens?

I just bought a new Canon M50 mark II from Best Buy on September 9th 2023, and have Canon brand EF-M to EF mount adapter, but I've noticed an issue when I use my Canon 18-135 EFS Nano USM Lens on it... When I'm shooting video at 1080p I get this red dot that looks like a burn out pixel, it always appears in the same part of the image, but if I'm shooting 4K video or shooting stills its not there, any idea what would cause that?

Here are several "side by side" images, the photos on LEFT are video stills and the photos the RIGHT have the RED pixel circled in WHITE with a WHITE ARROW pointing it out. It's the exact same location in each image

-thanks

It's too tiny to see on the rear screen, but it's on the footage, only this 1 particular lens though. I also have gotten a few "lens error" messages while using it that cause the camera shut down, but if I turn it "off then on" it usually comes back to film but still got the dot
