      <description>&lt;P&gt;If you have any accessories attached, remove them. Take the battery out, let it sit for about a minute or so, then reinsert the battery and attempt to power on.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;If you shine a light in the battery compartment, do you see any type of corrosion? &amp;nbsp;If nothing stands out, best to send it in to Canon for a repair.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
