Merhaba @Rs-Eos,

Thank you for helping. We are currently renting a canon eos 5d mark4 from our school. Since there is an excessive tax in Turkey, prices have become quite expensive. We are thinking of collecting our own equipment, so we started looking for the right machine. We are also pleased with the machine you recommended. We just don't have the lenses you recommend.

Thank you again. 🙂

Hello,

I want to manage an account like the Instagram page I gave in the link. Can you give me a camera combination to get the same quality shots as these shots?

Example: x camera model + x mm macro lens. etc. Suggestions like.

I live in Turkey, which camera and lens will give me this quality of photos and videos at the most affordable price? Thanks.

Example Instagram account: https://www.instagram.com/gallantgalata/

Greetings,

My recommendation would be a full frame body, DSLR or Mirrorless with a EF or RF 100mm L f2.8 with proper studio lighting and back grounds. Ricky RS-EOS might be a good resource, as I believe he does studio work.

Merhaba.

In looking at the images, it appears that very good lighting was set up. Note the soft shadows. So it's not just going to be a camera and lens. Be sure to budget for at least one good light and softbox/umbrella. Probably need other gear which can be simple white foam core to provide fill, or black foam core to serve as a flag.

I don't do food photography myself, but the other challenge (perhaps the main challenge) is to ensure the images capture the deliciousness of the food/drinks.

The lens being used definitely has a wide aperture. I'd assume at least f/2.8 if not narrower.

But, to provide you with gear recommendations, we'd need to know your budget. Again, remember that lighting will be very important. It's possible to use available light of course, at which point you may still want to invest in say a diffusion panel to have a bit more control over how soft the light will be.
