Canon 5d Mark 4 / Sigma EX 85mm 1: 1.4 DG HSM / Weird circles on screen

Hi everyone,

I recently bought a mark4. And after using the Sigma EX85 1.4 lens I am getting these weird circles on screen (see example). Never had this using the Mark3. Does anyone know this issue? Hope someone can help me out.

Disable lens correction when you are using that lens.

I had simmiliar issue with 6DII and Sigma 50 HSM.

1) disable correction, as ebiggs1 written

2) the second problem I had with this lens is that it was too dark when used from live view. Just switch to "partial metering" and the problem is gone.

Check the firmware version of your lens:

I think the lens are (the op, and mine 50mm) before the dock era, not the Art series, but before with the gold band 🙂
