      <description>&lt;P&gt;Short answer:&amp;nbsp; The SL1 is a crop-sensor DSLR. As such, it can use ANY EF or EF-S lens ever made.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;That's the "compatibility" answer. "Suitability" is a whole other subject.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;&lt;EM&gt;"Thats a lot of lens for this little camera,&amp;nbsp; ..."&lt;/EM&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;This is a good point. The 70-200mm f2.8L is a heavy lens. You will want to never hold the camera/lens combo by the camera. Always hold it by the lens itself. You could damage the cameras mount if you don't. Otherwise it will work beautifully&amp;nbsp;and make fantastic photos as a matter of fact no other lens will match it in this lens category. It is simply the best there is.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;</description>
