EOS 5D Mark IV How to share photos without quality loss

First thanks for accepting me into the group.
I’m loving my d5 mark iv Wi-Fi access to send photos to my phone and via the Canon Camera Connect app to quickly share photos with family.
My question is with a 30 mp camera is there a drop in the quality if you send a photo via text as compared to the usual download the photos to laptop then email the photos. I am not a professional so these photos are not for a client but rather family photos to share with other family members. If any are printed they would not exceed 8x10 or 11x14.
Again. Love the quality of my d5 just curious as to the result of texting a photo as compared to email.

I suggest using Signal instead of text. Signal allows larger attachments and encrypts the message.

For very large files, it would be better to use a file sharing service. Then, text or email the link (URL). You can also export smaller versions of the photos for sharing (where using text or email would work OK).

I use Adobe Lightroom to manage all my photos in their original form (RAW). When wanting to share with others, I export them using some preset (e.g. "Medium for Email").
