Other than setting the diopter if you need glasses, there is not much to set up with an optical viewfinder. If that is not what you mean by "viewfinder to screen" we need more details.

Are you talking about changing from viewfinder-viewing to Live View on the big rear LCD screen? That's just a one-button switch. Look at the drawings of your camera's controls in the 90D manual, and look at instructions on Live View shooting.

Otherwise, you need to be more clear about what you are trying to do.
