EOS-1Ds Mark III Firmware Upgrade

I know this is an old, olllllllllllllld, body, but now that I ordered an R5, I want to update my 1DS Mkiii to the latest firmware version and use it as a backup camera.

I found out that the latest firmware version is 1.23, and I'm sitting 1.14. However, as much as I go round and round and round and ... round on the Canon support site, I can never seem to land on a page that has a working download link. I do find pages that have a supposed link, but when I click through, I wind up back on the (not so) merry go round.

Would anyone have a suggestion, or better still, a working link?

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

The SHA256 checksum for the zip file that I have downloaded from Canon is

34e11821e082f46344ed4fc7beb9d1b5c0cbd2679d7dc88801f1b9233f0f5e2b eos1ds3-v123-win.zip

The 1Ds III firmware from Eoscard gives me the same checksum and is therefore identical with the one I downloaded from Canon.

WOW... I cannot thank you enough! And this winds up being a twofer.

1. A link to the firmware update I was looking for.

2. Finding out about the EOSCard website. I never knew it existed. THANKS!
