You would need a Canon EF to EF-M adapter to allow you to work with EF or EF-S lenses with your M-Series camera.

Having said that, this particular EF lens is around 3.6 lbs. It will absolutely dwarf your camera in both size and weight. Not sure how much strain that would put on the adapter and your camera. You'd definiely need to hold the lens firmly in one hand while shooting. Or, if using a tripod, use the lens collar as a mounting point.

New hobby so here’s a rookie question: I own a Canon EOS M50 mark II. Will the EF 100-400mm f/4.5-5.6L IS II USM lens fit my camera? Looking for a good lens for wildlife, nature and sports. Thank you!!
