topic EOS R Noisy and soft images in EOS DSLR & Mirrorless Cameras

I have owned my EOS R mirrorless for over 10 months now, but recently it has been capturing noisy and soft images. I have checked my manual settings, especially ISO, and they are fine. Daytime and nighttime shots are both consistently noisy and soft, even with different lenses. I suspect that my camera might be faulty, possibly due to a sensor issue or the need for cleaning. I need assistance

" I need assistance"

Yes you do but first lets reset the camera to default settings. Check your manual if you do not how to do this. You can not trouble shoot it until you have a basic starting place. Once rest place it on P mode, ISO 200, daylight WB, One shot center focus point, not Ai-servo or any other special features. Just these basic settings.

Now on a nice sunny day go to a park or nice spot and take several random shots. If they are OK, fine, there isn't anything wrong with the camera and it was a messed up setting. If they are still bad, call Canon to set up a service tag. Simple!

1 (800) 652-2666
