EOS Rebel T5i lens and setting recommendations for hot air balloon festival

I'm going to be in New Mexico next week for the hot air balloon fiesta. I need help with my settings and which camera lenses to use in order to take clear and colorful pictures there. Please help!!

As for lenses, my 18-135 was great for general walking around, while the 70-300 is handy when you are shooting balloons kinda far away *outside* of the park.

I just have the beginner lenses that come with the

EOS Rebel T5i 18.0 MP CMOS Digital SLR with 18-55mm EF-S is STM Lens

-70-300mm lens

Usually the EF 75-300mm or EF-S 55-250mm lenses comes in Rebel kits. Not the EF 70-300mm lens.

Oh, and BTW, Albuquerque will have a front row seat for the eclipse this Saturday mid-morning. The tram and crest will be really crowded, but I had good luck at the dam north of Montgomery on Juan Tabo. Make sure to get a solar filter!
