    <description>&lt;P&gt;No idea. &amp;nbsp;If you've registered the product with Canon, look at starting a repair service which will most likely lead to getting an estimate. &amp;nbsp;You can then evaluate if such a repair would be worth it.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;My camera was damaged by a wave hit, while I was shooting surf. Some chips in the motherboard are damaged, I'd like to know how much will it cost if I sent that to a Canon Service Center and will it be repairable?&lt;/P&gt;</description>
