Composition Grids for EOS 5D Mark IV

I would like to know if it is possible to upload additional composition grids, in live view, to my 5D Mark IV. I would like to have access to The Golden Ratio, Phi Grid, Golden Spiral, Golden Triangle, Diagonals, and Dynamic Symmetry.

Sorry, it is not possible. It would have to come from a Canon firmware update.

Somewhere on the forum pages, there is a link to provide feedback to Canon. At this time, I can't find it. If I do find it, I'll post back to you. I am sure someone will know where the link is. To be fair, I don't think Canon will be adding new features to this camera, as it is getting old in camera years.😊

I doubt if this or any other new feature would be included in any future firmware updates. The camera body is several years old. Firmware updates to this body have been to correct issues, not to add features.

Do it in post. Capture photos a little bit wider than what you normally would, so that you can adjust the image and slightly crop it.

By the way, there is a diagonal grid listed in the live view grid menu.
