topic EOS R5 Autofocusing after video starts recording in EOS DSLR & Mirrorless Cameras

I have a custom video mode defined and saved on Custom Mode 3 so that I can just push the red Movie Shooting button on the top of the R5 and instantly switch from shooting stills to shooting video. What I can't find explained is once I start shooting video, do I also have to push either my back button focus or the shutter button halfway to get the camera to achieve focus? I have autofocus mode set to facial recognition. Does it just automatically focus by pressing the Movie Shooting button? Thanks.

Why not try it and see. It would be easy to test.
