Is canon t4i firmware update still available ? I'm getting an ERROR when selecting operating system.

Does anyone know if the firmware update is available for the canon t4i? I'm getting a message that say's OS system not found. My version of Mac OS is above the standard that is required for download. If anyone knows can you provide a link. The latest firmware shows to be the 1.0.5. but I can't get access to download it.

1. It automatically detected my OS (meets req)

2. Selected my camera (T4I)

3. Followed download link (this is where nothing happens/ or is found).

Thanks Bob,

I followed the link and selected download for the T4i but nothing happens. I’m using an sandisk 128gb that I formatted/ erased. Also checked the low level within the camera before formatting card in the camera. I must be skipping a step.

Did you extract the .fir file from the downloaded file on your computer and copy only the .fir file to the root directory of your SD card? Then select firmware update on the camera menu. It should see the firmware update file and offer to update.
