topic EOS 1DX MarkIII with DJI RS3 Pro in EOS DSLR & Mirrorless Cameras

This gimbal has the function of blue tooth start and stop recording with most cameras. I know that this camera is old but it's still a flagship camera that, in my mind hasn't fully been replaced by either the R5 or the R3. Yet some of the functions between the two systems don't work together such as the record button on the gimbal unless I'm missing something. I think if this could be fixed it should. The camera shoots in 4k DCI in C-Log at both 24fps 29 and 59fps I've been dragging my feet to upgrade because of this. I love the C70 and the R5 but while

The 1DX Markiii still does excellent video and is much more weather sealed than those two. I want to shoot with it for longer if I can.

The DJI website does not list the 1D X Mark III as compatible. The Mark II is listed, but it is listed as using the cable connection. SO i would assume that the "problem" you are reporting is a DJI issue.
