      <description>&lt;P&gt;Hi and welcome to the forum:&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Sorry to learn you are having this issue.&amp;nbsp; In order, I would suggest the following:&lt;BR /&gt;1. Make sure the battery is fully charged - you may be wise to get a battery charger for this model if, as I suspect, it does not come with one.&lt;BR /&gt;2. See if you can source a known good battery.&amp;nbsp; You might be able to persuade someone who uses the LP-E17 batteries, or a camera store to let you try a charged battery to eliminate that the battery is not the issue, or the charging cable.&lt;BR /&gt;3.&amp;nbsp; If it is clear that battery is not the issue, call 1-800-OK-Canon to talk to the tech support people.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Did it get wet? &amp;nbsp;Make sure your battery is fully charged. &amp;nbsp;Remove any lenses or mount adapters. &amp;nbsp;Remove the memory card, &amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Does it power up? &amp;nbsp;If not, contact Canon Support for a possible repair.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
