      <title>Zoom adjustment</title>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Is there anyway to safely&amp;nbsp;lubricate the zoom adjustment on my Rebel? Mine doesn't turn as smoothly&amp;nbsp;as it should. There is no place in our area of western Kansas that repairs cameras.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;&lt;EM&gt;"Is there anyway to safely&amp;nbsp;lubricate ..."&lt;/EM&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;In a word, no. &amp;nbsp;It is a very bad idea. &amp;nbsp;Your friend is UPS, so I would send it to Canon service for evluation but beware this can be expensive and may cost more than a new lens.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>I was afraid of that but just in case anyone may have a different idea as to what I might try, the lens I have a problem with is the one that came with the camera...EFS 18-55mm.&lt;BR /&gt;But thanks for responding!</description>
