No, to mounting an EF-S lens on the 5D Mk IV, the lenses rear element will hit mirror causing damage.

It’s also physically impossible to do so. The lens is designed in such a way to prevent mounting on a FF or EOS 35mm SLRs. Even though EF-S lenses came later on. It’s still not possible to mount them on EOS 35mm film SLRs.

"It’s also physically impossible to do so."

Well it is possible and these replies are telling only part of the story. You can use a EF-s 10-22mm lens on a 5D Mk IV and it is a popular video mod. There is no additional adapter required. I am not going to tell you or show you how since there is a possibility it you use it in the 11mm to 10mm zone it can contact the mirror. 12mm to 22mm seems safe. So if you want to try it you can search on how to mount EF-s to a FF camera yourself.

The 5D Mk IV is FF and the 10-22mm is designed for a crop sensor body so there will be significant vignetting unless you are in 4K video mode. The 5D Mk IV has a 1.4 crop in 4K, so no vignetting is apparent.1.4 vs 1.6 crop factor is too close to matter.
