The best Canon lens to put on an 80D is the Canon EF-S 17-55mm f/2.8 IS USM Lens. It is also the best GP lens which will do landscapes and a whole lot more for you.

The lenses listed above will do landscapes but little else. Now if that suits your needs go for it.

Do you have a budget if so how much. Have you looked into the EF-S 10-18mm F/4.5-5.6 IS STM lens or EF-S 10-22mm F/3.5-4.5 USM lens. These are 2 options from Canon.

There are a wide variety of good options for the 80D (great camera! I loved the one I had). However two questions need to be asked first.

As deebatman316 asked... what is your budget? That is the biggest thing to point you in the right direction.

The other is, are you looking to shoot wide, or distance? Personally I like wide lenses for my landscape work, but I know a lot of landscape/nature photographers that like a longer lens. Give us an idea, and we can come up with better suggestions.

The Canon EF-S 17-55mm f/2.8 IS USM Lens is an excellent choice for the Canon 80D and serves as a fantastic general-purpose lens. It’s versatile enough to handle landscapes and much more, making it a top pick.

While the lenses mentioned earlier are great for landscapes, they might not be as versatile. If landscapes are your primary focus, those could work well, but if you want more flexibility, the 17-55mm is the way to go.

EB
EOS 1DX, 1D Mk IV, and fewer lenses than before!

HotSchedule com
