To start with I am pretty confident Brian meant to write the RF100 and not the RF 1000mm. The RF 100mm F2.8L Macro is a great lens that will allow you to achieve the exact images you described in your post. Here is an example of what the lens can do.....

Check out the reflection of the flower in the insects eyes.

Rf 100mm for macro?

So I have a canon r7 and want to ask if A 100mm rf 2.8 would be the best choice for macro AF?

Will be my first macro lens and I want to take pictures from Bugs where you can see every detail and where you can see their face. what do you guys think about the combo: rf 100mm +AK Diffusor+ 350C Flashlight+Raynox ring for better closeups?

The only RF lens with life-size and more macro is the RF 100mm F2.8L Macro IS USM - to reduce confusion I edited the 1000mm to 100mm 🙂 . It's a great lens, super sharp and an ideal partner for EOS R-series cameras.

Depending on the size of your "bugs" you might want even closer capabilities and that gets a little more specialised. There are no Canon RF extension tubes available, though some independents do produce them. For maximum magnification, you would need to source the MP-E 65mm f/2.8 1-5x macro lens and the EF to EOS R mount adapter. This will magnify your subject 5x larger than life on the sensor, but the lens is manual focus only, and no longer in production.

In addition to Brian's excellent advice, if you are new to macro, make sure you understand how very thin the depth of field is at 1:1 and beyond and what is required to get the whole "bug" in focus.
