What is the best wide angle lens for canon rebel t7?

I have a 24 mm which does the job alright but want something sharper and something that zooms.

Using it to take group pics of football team...

budget $400

Canon has an EF-S 10-18mm zoom.

I agree with John on the EF-S 10-18mm IS STM.

There is also an EF-S 10-22mm f/3.5-4.5 USM Lens that is available used and I've read some decent things about. The 10-22 is about a half stop faster but the 10-18 has IS (image stabilization).
