topic Getting the RF28 f2.8 for my R50. How did you like your 28mm? in EF & RF Lenses

How did you like it for crop sensor?

The RF28 seems to be a good choice for me, the 35 is just a tad bit out of my budget since I just gotten the 50 I really like the form factor of the 28, it's perfect for the light and small/compact street photography setup I'm going for.

I already have the RF50 1.8 and the 18-45 kitlens.

I really like the 50 but it's just super tight, I like the kitlens too but it isn't fast enough and the aperture is just lacking.

How did you like the 28 for APSC?

"I already have the RF50 1.8 and the 18-45 kitlens."

This is a simple question you can answer for yourself. Set your kit lens to 28mm and put a small piece of gaffers tape on it to hold it there. Now live with it for a while and see if it works for you. You see a prime lens doesn't offer much after you get past the somewhat faster aperture because generally that's all they offer. Otherwise they are difficult to live with unless you have a specific need.
