    <description>&lt;P&gt;Can you provide the Full complete name of the lens in question. Canon hasn't released an &lt;STRONG&gt;EF 70-200mm f2.4 II IS&amp;nbsp;&lt;/STRONG&gt;lens. They've made F/2.8 &amp;amp; F/4 versions of lenses including IS and non-IS versions. The version 1 IS of the F/4 and the original non-IS versions&amp;nbsp;&lt;STRONG&gt;DO NOT&amp;nbsp;&lt;/STRONG&gt;support 12 fps. The F/2.8 models the original non-IS and version 1 IS&amp;nbsp;&lt;STRONG&gt;DO NOT&amp;nbsp;&lt;/STRONG&gt;support 12 fps. The newer variants of the F2.8 &amp;amp; F/4 lenses do.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;This does seem strange as I have that lens and an EOS R6. With the EF 70-200mm f/2.8L IS II USM fitted there is no difference in the high speed drive operation compared to using an RF lens. Make sure you have LP-E6NH batteries fitted and the icon on the LCD is showing H+ in green.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;EOS R5 and EOS R6 both have some limitations at the high speed + drive mode with older EF lenses and there is a list in the manual on page 859 that shows the lenses compatible with 12fps. There it says the lens is compatible.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;However I note you typed &lt;STRONG&gt;f2.4&lt;/STRONG&gt;&amp;nbsp;is your lens the f/4 version, not the f/2.8 version? If so then the EF 70-200mm f/4L IS USM does not support high speed 12fps shooting, yet the EF 70-200mm f/4L IS II USM does.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
