T6i compatible with Canon EF 70-200mm 2.8L IS USM lens?

Hi all!
I have a canon T6i and looking into purchasing a better zoom lens.
I know someone thats selling a Canon EF 70-200mm 2.8L IS USM lens and wasn’t sure if this would be compatible with my camera?
any input or suggestions would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

Yes, the EOS Rebel T6i is compatible with EF and EF-S lenses.

Not only compatible but the best choice in a lens you can make. This is one of the world's best lenses if it doesn't do it for you there's no better choice.
