Typical when the lens correction is wrong, or actually, when just more of the picture needs to be cropped. As you can see at the center top/bottom the issue isn't really big there.

Adobe had the same issue with RF24-240 and, if I remember it right, its lens profile v2.

Edit: yes, v2 https://community.adobe.com/t5/camera-raw-bugs/p-lens-correction-profile-for-canon-rf24-240-exhibits-edge-artifacts/idc-p/12340424

Bug report for your lens https://community.adobe.com/t5/lightroom-classic-bugs/p-profile-for-canon-rf-24-105mm-f2-8-l-is-usm-z-has-edge-artifacts/idi-p/14301308

Easy to replicate in darktable with any lens profile.

Is anyone else having issues with their 24-105 2.8 when you zoom in? My edges of the image are like lines of color. I am using the Canon R6.

This image was zoomed in all the way at 105. You can see the stretching lines or whatever we want to call them on the right and left of the image.

This image you can see it on all sides. It was zoomed in only to 57mm. You can see it on all 4 sides.

Do you have in-camera lens corrections applied?

No, I don't believe so. I just did some more digging and trial and error and it appears the stretching is only showing in Lightroom? I just opened up the RAW files with my Preview app and they don't show there. When I view that same file in Lightroom, it shows. When I export that file from Lightroom, it shows as well.

Very odd. Its only doing that with images taken with that lens.. Other lenses are not doing that.

Do you have lens corrections enabled in LrC? maybe its a problem with that particular correction algorithm.
