Hello Wonderwoman1031 welcome to the forums. Depending on the lens. Repair might be the best route. If it is the EF-S 18-55mm kit lens it would cost more to repair than to replace it. If you do get a replacement look for the EF-S 18-55mm F/4-5.6 IS STM. Or if your budget allows you can get the EF-S 17-55mm F/2.8 IS USM lens.

-Demetrius

EF 16-35mm F/2.8L III USM, EF 24-70mm F/2.8L II USM, EF 28-135mm F/3.5-5.6 IS USM, EF 50 F/1.8 STM

EOS 40D & 5D Mark IV

430EX III-RT & 600EX II-RT

I have a canon rebel t7 and my lense isn't zooming in and out smoothly anymore. It's acting like it's getting stuck. Any suggestions?

Which lens is it?

Depending on the lens replacement could be more cost effective than repair.
