Repair Canon EOS 70-200F4 IS USM

I have a Canon 70-200F4 IS USM which I purchased in 2007. The focusing is acting up and I

would like to send it in for repair. But when I call and say my model number she keeps asking what is that I need repaired, a camera, printer, etc. Never mentions lenses. And doesn't understand the model number.

When Try to do it online it wants me to register the 70-200F4 IS USM, but it doesn't come up as something I can register.

I just want it repaired. Any help would be appreciated

Repair cost was $466. They said I should have it back in 5-7 days.
