      <description>&lt;P&gt;It tells you the hyperfocal distance at a given aperture.&amp;nbsp; If this doesn't make sense, don't worry about it.&amp;nbsp; You don't need to pay any attention to it to shoot, and quite frankly I don't see the purpose in it for macro work.&amp;nbsp; It's more for landscape, stars, and whatnot.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I'm sure there's plenty online to read about, just search for "hyperfocal meter lens"&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;On the meter dial, if you are going to take macro shots, place the meter on Macro. &amp;nbsp;This will allow you to get within the true macro area, of a image subject being full sized. Or, 1:1. &amp;nbsp;This means if you shoot a photo of a bee, the image of the bee will show the bee at full size on the camera sensor, allowing full detail of your 100mm macro lens.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
