It is two letters followed by four numbers. They're usually inside the metal mount on the black rearward surface.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I believe that lens was manufactured between 1993 and 2002 so the second letter of the date code would be from H through Q indicating which year it was made. The first two numbers are the month.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
