      <title>No lens data for the 200mm f2.8 in DPP?</title>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Just bought the 200mm f2.8 L lens and am unable to see any 200mm prime lenses in DPP, am I missing something?&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Jack&lt;/P&gt;</description>

I suspect that Canon makes some kind of determination regarding how much benefit a lens needs from the optimizer and how many of the lenses are out there in use.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;For instance, while the new STM kit lenses are supported in this way, the EF-S 60mm f/2.8 macro is not. Either because it wouldn't really benefit from it or there aren't a lot of them out there in use.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;The lens aberration correction tool does many of the same things and works with all identifiable Canon lenses.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
