I suspect that Canon makes some kind of determination regarding how much benefit a lens needs from the optimizer and how many of the lenses are out there in use.</P><P>&nbsp;</P><P>For instance, while the new STM kit lenses are supported in this way, the EF-S 60mm f/2.8 macro is not.
