A EF lens will function the same way on a EF-S body as it does on a EF body without any consequence.

As David said yes it will, but you cant put an EF-S lens on a full frame body.

Thanks to all! Now I remember why I kept all my old EF Lens. This might be the time to step up from my bridge camera. Thanks again from a forty year plus Canon user.
