Your comment is at best confusing..."the other software," does tell me much.

I'm using windows 8 and office 2003. I didn't have the problem with the MX870. Today for example I printed a 11-page document - last page out first, so reverse the order and print even side. The printing result: 1,4,2,missed page,3,6.5,8,7,10,9,and page 11, which was kept out.

This document is going to several others for review. How is this even possible when the page sequence is screwed up?

TH

Hello.

The issue may be related to a setting in the program that is being used. Does this issue occur when you perform printouts from other programs?

Hi nichfinder,

Installing the latest drivers for the printer from the Canon USA website may resolve the issue you are experiencing. The following link will take you to the Support and Drivers page for the PIXMA MX922:

PIXMA MX922 Support and Drivers page

Once on the initial download page for your printer, please do the following:

1. Verify that the operating system detected in the "OPERATING SYSTEM" drop-down menu is correct, and if it is not, please click the drop-down menu to select your operating system.

2. Next, please click on the red arrow next to the "DRIVERS" section and click the MINI MASTER SETUP file. When you do, another page will appear giving details of the file you are about to download will appear.

3. Please scroll down on the Details page and agree to the terms of the disclaimer message to continue with the download process by clicking on the "I AGREE - BEGIN DOWNLOAD" button. After clicking the "I AGREE - BEGIN DOWNLOAD" button, follow the instructions to download and install the driver. The time for the download process may vary depending on the speed of your Internet connection and the size of the file being downloaded. Please be sure to have the USB cable unplugged from the computer prior to installing the drivers; the installation program will prompt you to plug it in at the appropriate time.

Once the drivers have been reinstalled, please attempt to print again.

I hope this helps!

This didn't answer your question or issue?

I know this is an old response that you gave (2/13/14), but I'm having the same problem -- PIXMA 922 does not print in reverse order even though I've chosen that preference in MS Word for my documents. I don't see any options for changing the setting in the PIXMA 922 printer dialog box. Do I really need to download new drivers in order to do this?

Thanks,

Karen
