My MP160 Pixma printer shows a paper jam, but I have opened it up and checked and even blown it out and dusted it and there is no paper in it. I have even installed it on another pc and it still has that message! Any suggestion would be much appreciated! Thank you!

Hello blinkybud,

If you have checked for obstructions and removed any jammed paper, try resetting the printer:

1. On the operator panel, press and hold the ON/OFF button for one second. The display will go blank.

Note: It may be necessary to unplug the power cord if pressing the ON/OFF button does not shut off the printer.

2. Wait approximately ten seconds and then press the ON/OFF button again.

3. Wait until the device has completed its cycling process, and reattempt a print job.

If the issue persists, then, regrettably, the unit will need to be serviced.
