Canon g4200 only prints font outline

My printer is only printing the font outline. I got the dreaded ink cleaner code, found a fix for that, cleaned print heads as recommended, and ran all the cleaning cycles. I have wasted about a tank of ink through the entire process. Now its all back together and not throwing codes. But my printer only prints a very faint outline of all fonts. They are literally bubble letters. This is so frustrating as my printer is just over two years old and my first ink fill started all of this.
