TS3122 will not print 4x6 card in black ink

My Canon Printer TS3122 will not print on a 4x6 card in black ink. I have a project that requires me to print about 200 4x6 cards. I had printed about 50 cards with no issues when my printer began printing in a gradient rainbow instead of black ink. When I switch to regular 8 1/2 x 11 paper, the printer prints perfectly in black ink. But always prints in that rainbow gradient for 4x6 cards. I switched out the ink cartridge, but it did not solve the issue. I have turned off the printer and disconnected from power and it still has not solved the issue. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Hi Victoria0242,

Please load letter sized plain paper in your TS3122 and repeatedly press the wrench and screwdriver button until "1" appears on the printer's display.

Once "1" appears, please press the BLACK Start button 1 time.

When the test page that printed, do you see 2 blue, 2 pink and 2 yellow bars below the black grid?

If not, please replace the color ink cartridge.

I called Canon support and resolved the issue. Thank you for the reply.
