Printer says ink dried up after refilling cartridges

I bought cannon ts printer last month and after the ink that came with it finished, I refill the cartridges with refill ink and it keeps giving message that ink dried up. The ink level does not change at all.

What should I do?

What is the ink you refilled with? The ink could well be the problem.
