My TR8622 was working and printing fine yesterday. This morning we had a minor power outage and I tried to print this evening and as soon as I turned it on it displayed Support code 6800. I followed the instructions to turn it off, and then unplug it, then turn it back on and it continues to display this code the instruction message. It's not even a year old. Any suggestions? If I have to service it, how do I find a service center in my area? Thank you.

One other thing to try - unplug from outlet and cycle the power button a few times. It sometimes works by draining stored charge.

If that doesn't work (printer damaged by power surge) it may not be cost effective to repair it.

Understanding Support Code 6831 for Canon TR8622

The support code 6831 on the Canon TR8622 printer indicates a problem related to the ink system or printhead. This error can arise from several issues, including:

Common Causes of Error Code 6831

Clogged Printhead: Ink residue can block the printhead, preventing proper ink flow.

Misaligned Printhead: If the printhead is not correctly positioned, it can lead to printing issues.

Incorrect Cartridge Installation: If the ink cartridges are not installed properly, the printer may not recognize them.

Power Off the Printer: Turn off the printer and unplug it from the power source.

Clean the Printhead:

Remove the printhead and clean it gently to remove any clogs.

Use a soft, lint-free cloth to wipe the printhead contacts.

Check Cartridge Installation:

Remove and reinsert the cartridges, making sure they click into place.

Restart the Printer:
