@shadowsports There is no forum on the UK website. Does the USA get preferential treatment? It looks like it, so I'll stick with this site.

I've serviced my printer and reassembled it. All except for the lefthand side. There is a curved arm which supports the top assembly, which needs to be extended for the bottom of it to clear the bottom of the printer when pushing the side into place. However it then sticks up with the top attached. The only way to retract the arm is to push a gear on the inside of the LH side, which obviously I can't get at with the side back on. How do I get it and the top to go down to its normal fitted position?

Greetings ,

The MG6150 does not appear be to be a printer / model that was sold in the United States.

To receive support for your product, please visit the Canon global website and select your region for your support options.

When I set up my account I noticed too late that it was in the wrong area, and it wasn't possible to change it.

I've had a reply on here before about this printer, there may be features in common with those sold in the USA, so I'll hang on for a bit.

Greetings,

Canon is a Japanese company. Preference is not given to the United States. There is no forum in Japan either. In Japan Canon offers a Photo Circle Club which is a paid membership.

It's not possible for Canon USA to provide support for your printer since parts, and service are not available for it here. You are welcome to visit and discuss Canon products but if you need support or repair it needs to be in the country / region where the printer was intended for sale. For reassembly assistance Canon support is probably your best bet.
