Cause of Error 6000

The Error 6000 on the Canon PIXMA TS9521C typically occurs due to a paper jam or an obstruction that prevents the print head from moving correctly. This can happen when:

There is stuck paper inside the printer.

The print head is misaligned.

Troubleshooting Steps

To resolve the Error 6000, follow these steps:

Power Off the Printer: Turn off the printer and unplug it from the power source.

Ensure the print head is properly aligned.

Regularly check for paper debris and keep the printer clean to prevent future jams.

My printer is automatically trying to print as soon as I turn on my machine. There are no jams and it will pull in paper from the back (my usual) and go halfway, then stop and it gives me the Error Code 6000. I have tried the unplugging while on, clicking Start 5x, waiting the 60 seconds and turning it back on. Nope, still Error 6000. I love my printer and need it.

I have done all of these. I’m going to check my inks to see if they aren’t settling in just right. I ordered a new printer today as I cannot go long without a printer. I’ll post again if something fixes it.
