    <description>&lt;P&gt;My Ip8720 is the same design as yours except it has six cartridges. It takes a minute or more once you apply power for it to quit grinding and flashing before the carriage moves to the ink install position. It is normal for the orange light to flash, which indicates no ink is installed yet.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Please help. I waited 2 month for this printer and finally got it. When I was setting it up and I got to step 3 I pressed the power button and got a flashing orange light. The ink cartridge sounds like its trying to move but is stuck or grinding. I have removed any and packing tape and paper there is nothing in this object way, i've unplugged it and replugged it again and NOTHING works. This is a BRAND NEW printer I just took it out of the box. Any help is appreciated.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Before plugging in the printer did you remove the orange plastic carriage protection plug from inside the printer?&amp;nbsp; It was under a long strip of orange tape that was stuck to the front of the printer. It is pictured in this guide also make sure the ink cartridges all have a solid red light, not a blinking red light. Blinking red indicates the cartridge is not installed correctly.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Hi Derrick, yes I removed all plastic and the carriage plug. I can’t even put it in the ink cartridges because the holder won’t move out from the locked position, it makes a grinding noise every time I turn it on.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>
