topic Canon Pixma MG3620 flashing lights in Desktop Inkjet Printers

My printer is flashing the power and warning light alternately. I have unplugged it, and connected it to my computer with a cable. The only thing I can see on the "Help" suggestion is that it needs to be taken to a service center. It has been working fine, and I have not recently made any changes to it, ie: new cartridges, etc.

This type of flash usually indicates a cartridge problem or possibly a paper jam. Depends on the number of flashes. This guide will determine the problem based on the count. If more than two it has a problem that requires service. If one flash then

Cancel printing and turn off the machine.

Confirm the following.

There is no paper or protective materials preventing the FINE cartridge holder from moving.

The FINE cartridges are correctly installed: Open the paper output cover. When the head cover opens, push up the ink cartridge lock lever to confirm that the cartridges are installed properly. Then close the paper output cover.

You can remove the cartridges and install them again.
