When turning on the printer it flashes back and forth from green on button to orange alert button. I keep getting a support code of 7700. Please help! The printer was purchased October 2022.

Derrick, how can I move the carriage to the center since the printer doesn’t work with that 7700 error code. How would I service the printer with this problem? Thanks for answering and help if you can advise what I should do.

DerrickL, I tried what you said to do but nothing allows the carriage to come to the center for me to remove the cartridge. The flashing green on button and yellow alert button keep flashing back and forth and this error does not allow the carriage to move. Any other suggestions?

DerrickL, the video still did not address my issue because I cannot get to the part where the carriage moves to the center so I could get the cartridge. I believe the printer is beyond repair at this stage. I will have to just replace the printer I’m afraid. I want to thank you for all your help in trying to resolve my problem.

I have to agree with you, if you cannot move the carriage by hand when the printer is unplugged from the wall. Some mechanical part has most likely failed.
