canon pixma mg2522 wont let me print in 8.5 x 11 paper after pinting in envelope com 10 paper. i keep getin 4102 suport code. any help pls?

it doesnt giv me the option for media type. only size option. so like i said wen i swich it bak to 8.5 x 11 n print it givs me that suport code all the time

Do you have a size setting for letter? What operation system do you use? Windows or MAC?

ya i jus told u. i jus dont hav the option for media type. i use windows 11. its bin a great printer til now over 4yrs. im bout to throw it

It is good you can still use it. Most of the time it is the operating system goofing things up, usually after some upgrade. .

use this driver: MG2522/MG2525 Full Driver & Software Package (Windows) it is the newest one.

hek i thot i did that. 2023? i dont no it mite b sum windows update thats causing this. no clue. its worked fine from wen i bought it 5yrs ago n now nuthin?

This is dated late 24 and it came up after detecting my OS which is updated Windows 11 Pro. The link will open the driver exe file, save it to your desktop, easier to find it that way.

I feel for you, and I have had the same thing happen with a very good Epson V100 flat bed scanner, worked great for ten years, and then a big Windows 10 feature update killed it. No new drivers for it were available. I had to spend 300 dollars to upgrade to a newer Epson V600 scanner, which used the exact same interface, with a newer driver. Who gets the blame? Epson or Windows? Fortunately the V600 still works with the latest Windows 11 upgrade after three years.
