Knowing the error code or message would be a big help, until then I know that a damaged usb/printer cable will allow Windows to detect the printer but will not allow a print command to go through. Also sometimes changing USB printer connection from the original port the printer was in can also cause an error state.

I'm on a Windows PC and trying to print off my PRIMA G6020. The USB is connected and the printer is being detected by my PC, but when getting to the printing process through Google Docs and Word, my printer enters an error state and can't print anything. I have restarted both my PC and printer multiple times, made sure my USB is firmly plugged in on both ends, and made sure my drivers are up to date, but no dice. Does anyone else have these problems or maybe a solution?

Is this a new printer, new issue or existing installation with a new error message? We need a little history. Has something changed? Or is this an issue you are facing out of the box?
