Will the G7020 ultimately have a problem with the Ink Absorber Pads? If so is there a replacement kit that can be purchased either from Canon or another reputable source?

The G7020 does not have a maintenance cartridge. It has an ink absorber which is not user replaceable. When completely full, you can have the printer serviced by Canon or replace it. Note, the printer needs to be under support to be eligible for service.

Is there a way I can replace the ink absorber pads myself. If so, where can i find directions?
